WESTWOOD PHYSICAL THERAPY is a full-service physical therapy clinic that was founded by Joan Schmidt,  P.T.  We have been serving the West Los Angles area for 30 years.  The clinic is 100% therapist-owned and operated. The clinic began in Culver City, moved to Westwood, and is now located on West Olympic Boulevard to conveniently serve the West Los Angeles community.

University Affiliation:
As part of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program it is necessary for students to take part in a number of clinical experiences in order apply the knowledge they have gained in the classroom to a practical situation. Westwood Physical Therapy has partnered with some of the nation’s top DPT programs in order to ensure that the clinical experience is first-rate, and for the advancement of the field of physical therapy. Students from the University of Southern California, Chapman University, Creighton University, California State University Northridge, and Nazareth College have all furthered their understanding and increased their level of expertise in evaluating and treating patients through their clinical experience with Westwood Physical Therapy.
