Joan is founder and director of Westwood Physical Therapy. She received her BS in Kinesiology from UCLA, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Highest Honors. In 1978, Joan received her certificate in Physical Therapy from Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Joan’s expertise is in the musculoskeletal area of orthopedics.

While affiliated with the TMJ Clinic at UCLA, Joan developed their Physical Therapy program, offering an effective treatment for TMJ pain relief.  She is a member of the Orthopedic and Private Practice sections of APTA.

When Joan is not in the clinic or performing her other job as Mom, she can be found riding her horse.
