Karin Nassar is a California state board licensed practitioner of Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a masters degree in Traditional Slide 2
Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, California. Her undergraduate work was in the field of Zoological Science at UC Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Prior to her graduate work at Emperor’s, she worked for four years in research at UC Los Angeles in the field of muscle protein biochemistry.
Karin specializes in orthopedics, and has augmented her education with an additional year of training from the Lerner program of Acupuncture Orthopedics. Her background and experience have greatly contributed to her philosophy of integrative medicine. She utilizes a team approach of working side by side with other medical professionals to achieve lasting wellness for her patients.
