Michelle McCarthy, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S. graduated from UCLA in 1994 with a BA in Psychology and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 1998 from USC. She became Board certified as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2004.

Michelle is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and a member of the Orthopaedic Section's Foot and Ankle Special Interest Group. She specializes in using manual techniques to treat musculoskeletal disorders from the TMJ to the foot. She also has extensive experience with Falls Prevention and the treatment of balance disorders. She continues to further her education by taking continuing education courses.

When not in the clinic, she can be found on the volleyball court or running her dog. She also volunteers with the LA Chapter of Disabled Sports, USA assisting people with disabilities to ski.
